Hi, welcome to my about me page!

My name is Kim. I live in Apex, North Carolina with my husband Chris, our newborn Ellie, and our labradoodle, Nala. I was both born and raised in Mississippi, but we have lived in NC since 2017. In addition to painting, I enjoy baking, tennis, writing music, and hiking amidst nature’s beauty, which is where I draw much of my inspiration for my paintings.

Oftentimes, when I am working on a particular piece, lines of poetry will come to my mind to accompany the artwork. In this case, I will include these lines along with artwork’s description.

I believe art is one of the most powerful vehicles for transformation. It can facilitate personal transformation as you sit with and view a treasured piece. Art also has the power to transform a space, an atmosphere, and the world around us. I hope to create art that inspires you and fills your space with peace, love, and joy.
